Aquaplay
The Museu de les Aigües (Water Museum) is also a factory that is responsible for transporting water to homes. Therefore, it is a very important space because water is a resource we use daily. When do we use water? (When we shower, wash our hands, brush our teeth, clean clothes or dishes…). But water has many uses beyond those we know; we can use it for painting or for gluing.
Through free play in the different corners of the toy library, we will interact with water to discover some of its properties and learn about different playful uses of water.

Motxilla exploradora (Explorer Backpack)
This is an activity designed for families who want to discover the Museu de les Aigües in a fun and shared way. Through a backpack full of materials—binoculars, magnifying glasses, old photographs, and a booklet with a map and explanations—children and adults become explorers and tour the different spaces of the museum together with the help of an educator.
The activity invites you to observe calmly, play, ask questions, and discover what this space is like and how it has changed over time. Thanks to the manipulable materials and the booklet’s proposals, the visit is transformed into an active experience that encourages curiosity, conversation, and family learning.
- Dynamic activity.
- Recommended age: Between 3 and 12 years.
- Sessions: 10h and 12h.
- Duration: 1 hour.
Prior reservation is recommended. To sign up, send an email to: museudelesaigues@veolia.com.

Hacdosoh 3.10!!!
Through a set of modules, this activity invites families to discover the world of water by playing and experimenting. Each module proposes a different dynamic that helps to understand where we find water, how much there is, and how it moves in nature and in living beings.
Children and adults can compare the amount of water in the seas, rivers, and aquifers, create figures to visualize how much water the bodies of people and animals contain, or roll balls to simulate the path of a river until it reaches the sea. Through play and manipulation, complex concepts become understandable and accessible.
This activity encourages curiosity, observation, and dialogue within the family, and offers a fun and participatory way to learn about the importance of water and its fundamental role on our planet.
Christmas Special
From December 20 to January 10
Postals líquides i Històries amagades (Liquid Postcards and Hidden Stories)
We propose two family activities:
“Liquid Postcards”. Children will be able to unleash their creativity by exploring different artistic techniques to create winter postcards with a lot of aquatic inspiration.
“Hidden Stories”. A self-guided adventure for the whole family: children will follow a map that will lead them through the most special corners of the Museum until they find different clues. If they solve them, they will discover where the Museum’s most secret pitchers (or jugs) are hidden.
- Dynamic activity.
- Recommended age: Between 3 and 12 years.
- Duration: 1 hour.
Prior reservation is recommended. To sign up, send an email to: museudelesaigues@veolia.com.
