24/7/365 The complexity of having water on tap

How are 529 million litres of water a day supplied to 3.2 million people?

There are great people and some huge numbers behind processes such as water collection, treatment, transport, distribution and the maintenance of Agbar’s infrastructures! 4,500 km of pipes, 91 storage tanks, 94 pumping stations, 41 chlorination points, just to name a few! This interactive resource reveals how the complexity of having water on tap is managed.

“The complexity of having water on tap” is an innovative and interactive educational activity that aims to highlight the effort required to transport water from nature to the tap and, as a result, to raise awareness of how lucky we are.
