Commemoration of the Gaudí Year
We celebrate the Gaudí Year with both in-person and digital activities where you can discover Antoni Gaudí’s connection with water.
This 2026, the Museu de les Aigües joins the commemoration of the Gaudí Year with a special focus on one of the most unique treasures of our heritage: the Gaudí Waterfall (Cascada Gaudí). This work, originally conceived by the architect for the garden of Casa Vicens and reconstructed at the museum in 2019, is an exceptional example of his ability to harmonize nature, architecture, and symbolism. Beyond its formal beauty, the waterfall represents a meeting point between art and water management, inviting us to rediscover Gaudí’s legacy from an unprecedented perspective.
For this commemoration, we have prepared digital and in-person activities:
- In-person:
- Every Sunday, guided tours of the Gaudí Waterfall and garden. On the first Sunday of every month, during open days, tours are at 10:30 AM (in Spanish), and at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 12:45 PM (in Catalan). The rest of the Sundays and holidays, tours are at 10:30 AM (in Spanish) and 12:00 PM (in Catalan).
